ND football banquet

The North Delta School Green Wave football team placed eight members on the MAIS District 1-AAA All-District first team squad along with nine on the Honorable -Mention unit.
Members of the first team offense include: Will Kidder, Kaleb Joiner, Braxton Bailey and Joseph Cox. Kidder was also named the Divison’s offensive Most Valuable Player.
Honorable-Mention offense consist of: Matt Burchfield, Bailey Ross, Jonathan Wilks and Dennis King. Hudson Parnell was came away with placekicking honors.
First team defense include: Hunter Baker, Tripp Savage, Drew McCool and Ethan Calvert. Baker was selected to the MAIS All-Star team and received the Green Wave Award. North Delta head coach Brandon Ciaramitaro served as assistant coach.
Honorable-Mention defense: Jones Montgomery, Michael Prine, Baker West and Austin Pointer.
Team Captions: Hunter Baker, Savage, Kidder, Cox and Calvert.
The North Delta Junior High team also handed out post season awards which include.
Luke Noah-Most Valuable Player
Shawn Payne- Defensive MVP
Dalton Cook- Most Valuable Linemen
Jordan Cox- Most Valuable Offensive Back
Slade Aldison- Most Improved
The cheerleaders were also recognized during the banquet. Announced as All-American Cheerleaders were Maddie Sullivant, Ginger Stephens and Lindsey Douglas.
Sullivant was named the captain as Stephens and Douglas were co-captains. Myles Durham was awarded with the Becky Jones Spirit Award.
