William “Bill” Claude Gray
CULLMAN, Ala.–– William “Bill” Claude Gray, age 62, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL.

Services were held Sunday at Wells Funeral Home. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis. Mr. Michael Bates officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Gray, was born February 28, 1953 to the late Claude Freeman Gray and Ruby Johnson Gray in Memphis. During his life time he was a Finance Manager in the automobile industry. He was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by one son, William Tyler Gray.

Survivors include: sister, Claudia Gray Burkes of Batesville, his step-son Keith Dixon of Guntown.

Robert L. Hill
POPE––Robert L. “Bobby” Hill, 81, died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m.. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Pope, with interment to follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until service time Thursday at the church. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Hill, born November 3, 1933 in Little Rock, Ark. to the late Frank Monroe and Jennie Lou Gill Hill, was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. He retired from M.D.O.T. and served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Griffis Hill and one son, Charlie G. Hill.
Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy Manning Hill of Pope; daughter, Jowanda Hill Hubbard of Courtland; two sons, Ronnie Hill of Pope, Gerald Griffis of Pope; three brothers, Wayne Hill and Tom Hill both of Pope and Charles Hill of Lincoln Park, Mich.; sister, Jenniveve Thrasher of Jacksonville, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, and six step-grandchildren. 

Elizabeth Kay Hull
BATESVILLE––Elizabeth Kay Hull, age 65, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at her residence.

Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home. The committal service will follow Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m.. in Jonesboro Memorial Cemetery.

Hull, born March 11, 1950 in Canton, Ohio to the late William Henry and Irene E. Haddock Hull, was a retired R.N. and member of Crockett Church of Christ.

Survivors include one sister, Jane Hull Rawson of Senatobia.

The family asks for those wishing to send memorial contributions to forward to Sardis Lake Christian Camp, 176 4-H club Rd., Batesville, Miss. 38606.

Glossie Mae Leverson
SENATOBIA–– Glossie Mae Leverson, 75, died October 19, 2015, at her residence.
Services were held Friday at Ebenezer Cemetery. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home had charge.
Leverson was a homemaker.

Survivors include: four daughters, Johnnie Leverson of Sardis, Glennie Leverson of Como, Annie P. Leverson of Coldwater and Robbie J. Leverson of Senatobia; four sons, Rainey Leverson of Sikeston, Mo., Jerry Leverson of Memphis, Ira Joe Leverson of West Helena, Ark. and Wrennie Leverson of Senatobia; three sisters, Geraldine Wear, Flora Welch and Hattie B. Davis, all of Sardis; brothers, Joe Willie Leverson, Danny Leverson, Eddie Leverson and Ira Leverson, all of Sardis; four sisters, Alice Moore of Senatobia, Daisy Loveberry and Maudie M. Ambert, both of Sardis and Maxine Petty of Como; 26 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.

Kenneth I. Roberson
BATESVILLE––Kenneth I. Roberson, 52, owner of Kenneth I Roberson Funeral Home in Batesville, died October 24, 2015, at his residence. Arrangements were incomplete at press time and will be published in Friday’s edition of The Panolian or by viewing www.panolian.com

Latoya Shanise Wilbourn
SARDIS–– Latoya Shanise Wilbourn, 26, died Monday, October 19, 2015, in Oxford.
Services were held Saturday at Cedar Grove M.B. Church in Como. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Rodgers Funeral Home had charge.

Wilbourn, born to Tracy Denise Faulkner and Kirk Dwayne Reece, was a member of Cedar Grove M.B. Church in Como and an adjuster at Winchester Ammunition.

Survivors along with her parents include: grandparents, Navangalist Ester Mae Wilbourn and Rev. J.D. Wilbourn of Como and Blanchie Reece Jones of Chicago; one daughter, Zariya Toliver of Sardis; five sisters, Felisha Little of Como, Inessa Adams of Horn Lake, Tekeila Porter and Laparis Burton, both of Senatobia and Jerrica Farmer of Horn Lake and three brothers, Jerry Faulkner Jr. of Como, John David Adams and Curtis Adams, both of Horn Lake.
