The camp scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at North Panola High School Gymnasium, is for children ages 7-14.  
Not only is basketball taught, but also character building, moral strengthening, and friendship development are covered—all in a safe Christian environment according to co-founder Rosemary McKinney-Brown who is also Billy Brown’s sister.

“But we don’t want all of the hard work and dedication of Billy’s life to fade away,” his sister noted stating that members are reaching out to members of the Panola County community to help carry on the camp.
“We plan a one day camp from 8 a.m-4 p.m.,” Ms. McKinney Brown said noting that while former camps had extended days, this year’s camp would have extended hours during the one-day camp while volunteers transition to operate the camp without her brother.

Although the camp is free, she and interim CEO Vickie Brown are seeking campers as well as contributors to help keep the ministry alive.

“We ask that if you can be a blessing to our campers that you send your donation to help sponsor this year’s camp,” McKinney-Brown said.
