JACKSON- A news release from the Office of the State Auditor commends South Panola School District for its annual financial audit for the year ending June 30, 2014.

The audit came during the last full year of now retired Financial Director Suzanne Covington’s career at South Panola.

 The school district received a certificate for achievement in financial reporting for this accomplishment of the audit with no negative findings.

 “I would like to congratulate the South Panola School District for their exemplary work over the previous year which led to this clean audit,” State Auditor Stacey Pickering said.

 The audit, performed by Kimberly T. May, CPA, PLLC  on behalf of the Office of State Auditor, was performed pursuant to Section 37-9-18(4), Mississippi Code Ann. (1972).
