Let’s Talk It Out and Miracle Makers Ministries will present the Sardis Sunday Best Christmas Musical Saturday, Dec. 13 in the North Panola High School auditorium.
For Let’s Talk It Out, the Dec. 13 show is the first event since the death in September of Billy R. Brown, who, with his sister, Rosemary Brown McKinney, founded the organization to build self-esteem in youth through a variety of programs, including an annual summer basketball camp.
The show will feature music by Jacob Milam, Shunna Milam, Pastor Matt Hill, Xavier Brown, Jada Lewis, Minister Fredrick Dean and the Mt. Olive Praise Team.
“There will also be a very special segment dedicated to the memory of Mr. Billy Brown,” said McKinney who, along with Billy Brown’s widow, Evangelist Vickie Brown, are continuing the work of Let’s Talk It Out.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. Admission is a $5 donation.
“Anyone who has ever come to basketball camp, please come and support this,” McKinney said. “If I could get every parent who has brought a child to donate just $5, I’d be set,” the Let’s Talk It Out spokesperson said, to fund the 2015 Shameka Wilbourn Scholarship and the 2015 Boys and Girls Basketball Camp, now set for the first weekend in June.
