The University of Southern Miss held a camp for high school football players Wednesday, afternoonThe camp took place at Robert H. Dunlap. The camp invited all northern Mississippi football players to participate in the drills to getting attention of USM coaches and maybe earn a scholarship.

The camp consisted of 100 participants including some big name players for South Heralded Tiger running back, Darrell Henderson was present but did not participate in any drills. Also, actively involved were Tigers Drelan Porter, Turner Rotenberry, Cole Rotenberry, Reginald Morris, Tyler Pogue, Donlad Twilley, Anfernee Benson, Chance Griffin, Kasey Hankins, Kadarius Ford, Ladarrius Rudd, Demetrius Gleaton, Dqmarcus Shaw, Bryon Robinson, Brycen Robinson, Anthony Sims, Jarien Barksdale, Rodney Shaw, Roosevelt Jones, Demetrivs Market and Desmond Lester.

The camp broke down individuals by positions after a team stretch. They varied and showed mostly athleticism in every position, but each one showed a strength in the position that the drill was intended for. Each group worked at a station for 15 minutes and then they moved on to the next station were they had a 30 second break before they started again.

After everyone went through drills and they broke the camp down even further. The offensive skilled went into the Pass Skeleton, which is where the offensive skills players go through routes. The linemen on both sides of the ball were in their own groups and the skilled players went through schemes.

After 20 minutes of position groups they went into one-on-ones. The offensive and defensive skilled players went against each other and the linemen did the same.

One-on-ones lasted for the rest of the camp. They got a final word as a group and broke down into individuals with their position coach. Camp was then dismissed and any player that a coach was interested in was scouted and given contact information.

The only player from South Panola to be offered was running back standout, Darrell Henderson.
