Barbara Ann Cook, 65

Barbara Ann Cook Hardin, 65, died Sunday morning, April 28, 2013 at her home near Batesville.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville.

Perrin L. Caldwell Sr., 85

BATESVILLE — Perrin L. Caldwell Sr., 85, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.
Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Senatobia Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Pate-Jones Funeral Home has charge.

Caldwell, born to the late John W. Caldwell II and Lady Grace Lowrey Caldwell, was a member of the Senatobia Presbyterian Church where he had served as a deacon, and was an elder. He was a past president of the Senatobia Rotary Club, the Senatobia Chamber of Commerce and served on the Mississippi Economic Council.

He was retired and past president and owner of Caldwell and Meacham Insurance and Caldwell Insurance in Batesville. He served as a founding board member and officer of Magnolia Heights School and served as past president of NWCC Foundation. He served in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include: his wife of 61 years, Eone Veazey Caldwell; two sons, Perrin L. Caldwell Jr. of Batesville and Thurman V. Caldwell and his wife, Rebecca of Senatobia; one brother, John W. Caldwell III and his wife, Judy of Goliad, Texas; and three grandchildren, Thurman V. Caldwell Jr., Lela Grace Caldwell and Eason Lowrey Caldwell.

Memorials bay be sent to Senatobia Presbyterian Church or Magnolia Heights School.

Rodger D. Warren, 60

BATESVILLE — Rodger D. Warren, age 60, passed away at his home in Batesville on Saturday evening, April 27, 2013.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning at noon. Reverend Roger Richards will be officiating.

Warren was born Nov. 3, 1952 in Louisville, to Earl Norwood and Eunice Marie McDaniel Warren. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville, and was the retired owner of City Tire and Service.

Rodger is survived by his wife, Jeanne Grisham Warren of Batesville; daughter, Jamie W. Bryan of Fulton; two sons, Brent Warren of Senatobia, and Blake Warren of Memphis; mother, Eunice McDaniel Warren of Batesville; sister, Linda Goodnight of Batesville; brother, Ricky Warren of Shreveport, La. and nine grandchildren, Paris, Leden, Ashton, Grisham, Aiden, Ella Grace, Adam, Mary Klaire and Holly.
