Monday, May 14, Laci DuBravec (sitting, center) signed to play fastpitch softball with the Northwest Lady Rangers. DuBravec signs with NWCC fastpitch

North Delta recent graduate Laci DuBravec signed a national letter of intent to play fastpitch softball at Northwest next spring.

She will join former teammate Vicki Johnson.

“I am glad that I did it now,” DuBravec said. “I didn’t know forever if I was going to do it but if I didn’t, I would have missed it.”

North Delta head coach Damon Plummer said he feels Northwest will be pleasantly surprised by the talent and ability DuBravec brings to the team.

She was the starting catcher for North Delta but at Northwest a few will be ahead of her, according to Plummer.

“She may have to compete for another position,” he said.

DuBravec plans to student to be a pediatric nurse.
