Two-year-old missing

Emergency responders Tuesday afternoon are looking for a missing two-year-old white male last seen playing in the yard of his home located at 1749 Morrow Road west of Courtland and east of Highway 35.

The boy’s grandfather told The Panolian that Colby Ridgeway was last seen with a dog in front of his home.

The boy was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt with a picture of a car on front, blue jeans and red and black rubber boots.

At approximately 2:45 p.m. responders near the boy’s home asked dispatchers to put the DeSoto County Sheriff’s helicopter on notice that they may be needed. He was last seen around 2 p.m.

At 3 p.m. an emergency call went out calling for all members of the Panola Search and Rescue Team to report to Morrow and Travis Road near the location of the boy’s home.
