While the 2011 high school football season will not officially kick off until next week, local fans can get a sneak peek at gridiron action Thursday night as North Delta hits the field to take part in its annual jamboree.

The Green Wave will take on district opponents Kirk and Carroll starting at 6 p.m. Each contest will consist of two 20-minute games and two 10-minute ‘B’ team games.

Other schools participating in the jamboree include Indianola, Marshall and Winston Academy.
