BATESVILLE– Mildred “Bill” Roberson Meurrier, 88, died Monday, February 7, 2011, at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley.

Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home. Rev. Truman Scarborough will officiate. Burial will be in Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw. Visitation will be from noon until service time. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Meurrier, born May 3, 1922, in Batesville, to Emmitt I. and Alvah B. Butts Roberson, was a homemaker and a member of Enon Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Joe Roberson Meurrier of Batesville and Floyd “Bubba” Meurrier of New York; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
