Donald “Duck” Byron Mabry, 66

Donald Byron Mabry, affectionately known as “Duck”, was a beloved auto mechanic who brought joy to all those around him. Born December 16, 1957, in Sardis, Donald’s fun-loving personality and passion for life touched the hearts of many.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, Aug. 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Senatobia Church of Christ Activities Building.
Throughout his life, Donald dedicated himself to his work as an auto mechanic where his skills and expertise shone brightly. Beyond his career, he found great pleasure in working on race cars and racing, hobbies that allowed him to showcase his talent and love all things automotive.
However, his true joys were found in the time he spent with his family and grandchildren. Whether it was sharing a meal of delicious catfish or cheering on his loved ones in their endeavors, Donald’s presence was always filled with warmth and love.
On July 19, 2024, Donald peacefully passed away at 12:55 pm in Senatobia, MS, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and unforgettable memories. He is survived by his devoted wife Debra Franks Mabry of Senatobia, loving daughter Wendy Mabry of Senatobia, caring son Chris Mabry also of Senatobia, cherished grandchildren Christopher Mabry, Caleb Mabry, Heather Russell, Abby Russell, and Annabelle Mabry.
As we mourn the loss of Donald from our lives, we also celebrate the light he brought into the world. His spirit will live on through all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
