A Lafayette County baserunner strayed too far from first during the South Panola Tigers’ jamboree on Tuesday, Feb. 6, and was tagged by South Panola first baseman Charlie Bowlin. The Tigers hosted area teams for early season scrimmages following the school’s Meet the Tigers event for the baseball and softball programs. The 2024 season for school teams across Panola County begins next week. (Kendall Bowlin)
