Richard Andrew “Andy” Hosler,  78, passed away Sunday, Oct.2, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m.  Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the family receiving friends prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. The interment will follow the service at Forrest Memorial Park.

Andy was born on June 5, 1944 to the late Richard G. Hosler and Margaret L. Hodge Hosler in Greenville, PA.

He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. Following his military career, Andy worked at the Chicago Bridge and Iron Company. After working there for several years, Andy became a technician for nuclear power plants including G.E. and several power plants in the Eastern part of the United States.

Andy was a member of the Batesville Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir there. He was a member of the Batesville Exchange Club and loved the community activities. He was also a member of the VFW and American Legion. Andy was a very patriotic man and was proud to be an American Veteran.

The family he leaves behind includes his wife, Yvonne Respess Hosler of Batesville; one son, Paul A. Hosler of Huntington, WV; one sister, Sue Hronik (Steve) of Rockford, IL; one brother, Pete Luce of Dallas, TX; and 6 grandchildren.
