About the decision, or non-decision, of the board of supervisors to not allow a gravel mining operation in Eureka, I would like to ask:

What routes were the leading opponents, Kelly Morris and the Pee Wee Johnsons, who also had their land tested for gravel going to take to haul it out?

Who recommended  Ms. Douglas to serve on the Land Use Commission and when did supervisors approve her appointment?

With the supervisors’ non-decision who will now foot the bill for attorney fees when (if) the decision is taken to court by Memphis Stone and Gravel?

The answers are, “the same road (Goodhope)”,  “they didn’t”, “and you the taxpayer”.

Sincerely

Lamar Johnson
