BES Teacher
Of the Year
Mandy Donahue, an Instructional Specialist, is the 2019-20 Batesville Elementary School Teacher of the Year. She has taught in the school district 14 years.
BIS Teacher
Of the Year
Tracey Pierce was recently named Teacher of the Year for 2019-20 at Batesville Intermediate School. She has been the Computer Lab and Discoveryville teacher for the past 17 years, and taught 3rd grade for 15 years before. Making the award presentation was BIS principal Lashunda Hamilton.
BMS Teacher
Of the Year
The 2019-20 South Panola School District Teacher of the Year at Batesville Middle School is Staci Toole. She teaches fourth grade math. Toole is pictured with BMS principal Chad Lindamood.
SPHS Teacher
Of the Year
Janet Blackmon was recently named Teacher of the Year for 2019-20 at South Panola High School. She teaches Early Childhood Development and her students run the part-time preschool called Tiger Care. Blackmon has been at South Panola for 18 years.
Pope Teacher
Of the Year
Fame Scammon was recently named Teacher of the Year for 2019-20 at Pope School. She is a Special Education teacher. Presenting the award was Pope principal Dr. Jay Cossey.
