BJH sweeps Pope in 7th grade games

The Batesville Jr. High 7th grade Tiger basketball teams came away with a sweep as they defeated Pope Jr. High in a pair of games Monday at Pope.
Kanarious Burdette led the way for the Batesville boys in a 32-20 victory with six points while Demartric Houston and Tredrick Hines provided five points each.
Justin Pope added four for the Tigers. Keylan Bibbs, Edward Draper, Kaleb Hill and John Wilson all had two points each.
Landon Roberts paced Pope with 15 points. Jamerian Harris added three while Raphael Holman provided two points.

Kamiyah Griffin and Jakelseyah Flowers provided eight points each in the Lady Tigers victory.
Princess Lofton, Jamya Scott, Justice Pope, Janiyah Wright and Mckenzie Sandford all added two points apiece.
Isabel Marquez paced Pope with six points while Ameciea Ford added four. Paris Morris and Aarian Crowder finished with three and two points.
The two teams meet again Monday at Batesville Jr. High beginning at 5 p.m
