Cougars travel to Holly Springs tomorrow

Ten weeks of football has come down to one game for North Panola if the Cougars want to keep their post-season hopes alive.
They travel to Holly Springs tonight for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
The winner will lock up the four seed in the Class 3A playoffs set to began next week while the losers’ season will come to an end.
North Panola (6-3, 1-3 in district ) has lost its last three of four games including a 10-8 home loss to Water Valley last Thursday.
Holly Springs meanwhile is winless in division play and is 2-7 overall with their only wins coming against Ashland (54-8) and Coahoma County (48-20).
Tonight’s matchup marks the 59th meeting between the two schools with North Panola leading the series 32-23-1.
Junior Dylan King directs the Hawk offense while DeCarlos Jefferson and Joshua Kimble serves as running backs. Antonio Evans leads Holly Springs in receiving with ten receptions for 126 yards.
The Hawks relay on leading tacker Roy Vaughn, Jr. Robert Jones and Latorrence Davis on defense.
