Panola County Justice Court Judge Michael Wilson had a full docket of felony cases to hear last week. Prosecuting Attorney Gaines Baker handled the first appearances and other cases.

Wilson heard the case of Tyree Dean for contempt of court – failure to appear. His case was continued until Aug. 27. He has been in jail for six months on felony charges.

Anthony Flowers was in court for contempt of court – failure to comply. He has been in jail for 97 days on possession of stolen firearms. He was served with contempt paper on July 10 and the judge set a $1,000 bond. In his original case, he was found guilty in absentia and fined $350 plus $250 restitution. He was given time served and has to return to court after he finishes his other sentence in 14 months, July 12, 2020.

Andre Deshun Middleton was charged with domestic violence – simple assault and violation of a protection order. He was told to have no contact with the affiant for three months. He has a $1,000 bond.

Jerryco Green was granted time served for a guilty plea to no driver’s license.

Shelby Nunley’s made an initial appearance for possession of a controlled substance, two grams of methamphetamine, and the case was bound over to the Grand Jury. Her secured bond is set at $5,000.

Larry Hester’s had an initial appearance for possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams of methamphetamine, and his case was bound over to the grand jury.

Stevie Jones pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. He has a court date of Sept. 17.

Kristen Dixon was bound over to the grand jury in her initial appearance for possession of a  controlled substance, one grand of methamphetamine. Her bond was reduced to $5,000.

Earl Walters had a bond hearing and he was assigned Kirk Willingham as attorney.

Prosecuting Attorney Baker disposed of the other cases.

Amanda Gary’s no driver’s license and no insurance case was continued until Nov. 19.

Shakierria Buford’s no driver’s license case was dismissed.

Ahmed Barakani’s speeding case was dismissed.

Jerricko Wilbourne’s case was continued to Sept. 17 for DUI, careless driving, no insurance and violation of the tint law.

Kevin Pitcock had his DUI case continued to Sept. 17.

Antonio Readus’ cases were dismissed for speeding, driving while license suspended, no insurance and no tag.

Roderick Hoskins cases for careless driving and no insurance were both dismissed.

Danny Thetford violation of the tint law and one of two seatbelt violation cases were dismissed. He pleaded guilty to no insurance and violation of the seatbelt law.

Vance Allen’s DUI case was dismissed.

Anglia Wells was guilty of no seatbelt and her no insurance case was dismissed.

Kendrik Jones DUI case was continued until Sept. 17.

A no driver’s license charge against Molly Carr was dismissed, but she was found guilty of speeding. A malicious mischief charge was dismissed without prejudice and no seat belt and no insurance charges were remanded to the files.

Ron Lee’s charges of DUI, possession of marijuana, no driver’s license and no insurance will be heard in court Sept. 17.

Dorothy Bishop’s speeding charge was dismissed.

Darrius Milton charges of DUI, seatbelt violation and possession of paraphernalia will be heard in court Sept. 17.

DUI and possession of marijuana charges against Kendrik Jones were dismissed while no insurance charge was remanded to the files. He was found guilty of speeding and seatbelt violation.

Eric Fondren’s disorderly conduct charge was remanded to the files.

Dorothy Boyette was ordered to attend MASEP and her driving while license suspended charge was remanded to the files.

A possession charge by Edward Harden was remanded to the files for six months.

Anna Whilhite’s DUI case will be heard in court Sept. 17.

Two counts of possession against Anthony Twilley were dismissed.

Catherine Johnson’s speeding case will be heard Sept. 17.

Hunter Barr had tint law violation, no proof of insurance and no tag charges dismissed.

John Red’s no tag and seatbelt violation cases will be heard in court Sept. 17.

Lanija Small had her DUI, no insurance, tint law violation and running a stop sign cases continued until Sept. 17.

A simple assault case against Jesse Taylor was continued until Sept. 17.

A threatening by telephone case against Christopher McCool was dismissed without prejudice.

Rosemary Sanders’ stalking case was remanded to the file and she was told not to have any contact with the affiant.

Timothy Tellis had his DUI, speeding, failure to maintain, and violation of the tint law continued until Sept. 17.

DUI, driving while license suspended, and reckless driving charges against Rhonda Jenkins were all dismissed.

Dynaquia Lashari Hemphill charges of failure to yield right-of-way and speeding dismissed. She has to attend MASEP.

David Arthur Grisanti had charges of BUI and no boater card dismissed.

Rodriguez Devon Johnson’s simple assault case was remanded to the file for one year.

Lakeisha Renae Borum’s speeding charge was dismissed.

Damario Jones pleaded not guilty to domestic violence and an Aug. 27 court date was set.

Lacius Jimmal Griffin’s child restraint violation and DUI charges were dismissed.
