Ronald Dale Brown

Mr. Ronald Dale Brown, 61, of Sardis, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, at Panola Medical Center in Batesville.

Dale was born April 28, 1957 in Memphis, to the late Odell and Jamie Brown. A retired master mechanic for FedEx, he was a very talented man who could fix anything and was always willing to lend a hand to his friends and neighbors when they were in need. He enjoyed working after his retirement on his venture, Dale Brown Farms. He was especially proud of his cows and his garden, which he avidly cared for.

He was a kind and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed. Mr. Brown leaves behind his loving family which includes his wife of 36 years, Cindy Brown of Sardis; his daughter, Kristi Brown Burns (Jason) of Oxford; his brother, Bill Brown of Germantown, TN; and two grandchildren, Julie Ann Moore and Wilson Burns.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robby Brown and his parents.

Graveside services were held Monday, July 30, 2018, in Forrest Memorial Cemetery near Batesville with Rev. Tim McMillen officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church Youth Fund. Dickins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
