Heather Jones and her her children Ben and Carlie, were part of the first Square Market in downtown Batesville Wednesday. Jones and the children had a vendor’s booth for Caney Creek Farm and was selling honey, honey butter, and other items. The farm is owned by Justin Selby and Jones said they intend to be part of the weekly farmers market each week. Square Market is open each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is managed by the Main Street Program. Vendor spaces are just $5 weekly, and organizers expect the market to expand in the coming week as more locally-grown produce become available.
