Bailey, born May 5, 1925, to the late Stonewall Jackson and the late Retha Lee Vowell Bailey, was a retired factory worker, a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a member of Pope Baptist Church.
Services were Monday at Pope Baptist Church. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Bouchillon, Charles Wesley Ph.D.
Charles Wesley "Bush" Bouchillon Ph.D., 73, died Monday September 13, 2004, at Oktibbeha County Hospital.
Services were Thursday, September 16, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Starkville Funeral Home had charge.
Bouchillon was born in Louisville, Miss. on July 17, 1931, to the late Milton M. and Clara Dempsey Bouchillon. He graduated Louisville High School as "Student of the Year" in 1949 and graduated Mississippi State College in 1953 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation from State, Bush served his country as 1st Lieutenant in the Army, during which time he served in the Korean War. Following his service in the U.S. Army, Bush went to graduate school at Georgia Institute of Technology where he received his Masters and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering in 1962.
He began his career at MSU in 1962, where he became a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He also worked with the Office of Research and Graduate Studies. During a long and impressive tenure as Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Bush worked with the NASA Research Center during the 1960’s and 1970’s. He was a member of several professional societies, including: American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE), and Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI). He retired from MSU in 1995.
Outside of his career at MSU, Bush was a successful entrepreneur, beginning with consulting at Combustion Engineering Bauer, from which he became a founding partner in FluidQuip, Inc. of Springfield, Ohio. He also received several patents for his work in fluid separation technology.
Bush was well known for his love of family, church, and community. He was a long-time member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and was active on numerous boards and committees. Bush’s love of singing was well known in the community, where he participated in Men for the Master, a nondenominational men’s choir.
Bush was a member of the Local Lions Club, the Starkville Emmaus Community, and a close, lifelong group of friends known as the "SCARS."
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Bouchillon.
Survivors include one daughter Leslie Bouchillon Salzmann of Birmingham, Ala. and her husband John and children John Carey and Sarah; three sons C. Ruston Bouchillon of Starkville and his wife Sheree and children Gray and Terry Silva and Babs, M. Scott Bouchillon of Alpharetta, Ga. and his wife Ginny and children Kerry and Charles, and David D. Bouchillon of Atlanta, Ga. and his wife Jill and son Drew; one brother Milton Bouchillon and his wife Mary Ann of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Maxine Milam of Curtis Station and Hettie Burnett and her husband Billy of Batesville and on sister-in-law Harriet.

Elizabeth Ann O’Neal Boyd, 67, of Southaven, died Saturday , July 10, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Boyd was a retired teacher for Walls Elementary School and a member of New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.

Boyles, born March 7, 1923, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Alford, was a housewife and a Baptist.

Brame, Olivia
Word has been received of the death of Miss Olivia Elizabeth Brame, age 83, of Covington, Virginia, on Sunday, Jan. 18. The cause of death was respiratory failure.
Miss Brame was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. She received her master’s degree from the University of Mississippi in English and Library Science. She was employed part-time with McGraw-Hill Publishing Company and the University of Virginia, where she taught English to foreign students.
Miss Brame is survived by a sister-in-law Ann Whitten Brame and her niece Elizabeth Brame Byrd and her family all of Batesville; her nephew Wesley Whitten Brame of Memphis; and by her adopted sister Mary Jane Luke of Covington, Va.
Miss Brame was preceded in death by her brother Julius de Yampert Brame Jr. and her mother Vannie Blair Brame.
An Episcopal memorial service will be conducted at a later date, to be announced. Memorial donations may be made to an animal protection agency of the giver’s choice.

Brasel, born July 24, 1937, to the late Grace Louise and Early Brown Nevil, was a retired teaching assistant, a member of The First Baptist Church, member of W.M.U., Keenagers and a member of the Beverly Lee Sunday School Class.

Burnham, a retired ITT American Electric Credit Manager, was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Oxford and a volunteer at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was also a member of R.S.V.P. and worked with the Literacy Program and The Pantry in Lafayette County.
Survivors include two daughters, Shelia E. Gall of Oxford and Peggy Tidwell of Columbia, Tenn.; one son Steven C. Joe Randolph Byars Sr., 79, of Batesville died Monday, Sept. 29, 2004, at his residence.
Byars, born June 10, 1925, was a member of the First Baptist Church, and a retired Mississippi Highway Patrolman. He served the Mississippi Highway Patrol from 1951-1984. He was a U.S. Marine during WWII, a 3rd degree Mason and a member of the Retired Troopers Association.
Services are today at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Marks, with visitation from 1-2 p.m. Burial is in Marks Cemetery. Rev. Robert A. Hickey will officiate. Kimbro Funeral Home has charge.
