This year’s Panola County Cancer Survivors celebration and dinner has been set for Tuesday, April 8.

The annual event is a community tradition that brings together cancer survivors, and their supporters and caregivers, for a night of reflection and thankfulness.

There is no charge to attend, but reservations are requested for planning purposes. The dinner and festivities will begin at 6 p.m. in the Family Life Center of Batesville First Baptist Church.

Merchants and individuals who would like to donate prizes and gifts for the Cancer Survivors celebration may do so by contacting Angie Inman at 662-654-7379. Those who want to attend may use the same contact information.

In past years, every cancer survivor in attendance received at least one donated item through a number drawing system that is a favorite activity for attendees.
