Tigers end skid with 12-2 win

South Panola snapped a brief three-game losing streak with a 12-2 win over Senatobia in five innings Saturday afternoon at Tiger Park.

Holden Daleke tripled and drove in a season-high five runs as the Tigers spotted Senatobia a 2-0 lead before scoring five runs in the second and six in the fourth.

Owen Roebuck doubled and drove in a run while Wyatt Long added two singles and an RBI for South Panola (10-7, 0-2).

Jamarion Ingram,Caleb Hawkins and Anson Bright registered singles with Taylor Anderson and Dalton McGee driving in a run.

   

Vandarrious Pollard scored twice as Charlie Bowlin and Eli Goodson scored one run each. Long meanwhile picked up the pitching win with 3.2 innings on three strikeouts on three hits and two runs. Jarett Toliver fanned a batter and walked one in one inning of relief.

  

South Panola found themselves on the short end of a Region 1-6A matchup Friday as the Tigers fell 10-1 to No.2  ranked Saltillo.

The Tigers were limited to a pair of singles by Daleke and Bright with Ingram and Caleb Hawkins scoring runs.

  

South Panola will look to pick up its first region win Friday as they visit Grenada before hosting DeSoto Central Saturday.
