The Oxford Police Department received a report on Oct. 4 regarding an unreturned rental vehicle from Enterprise Rental Service.

A warrant was issued for Lisa Birdsong Hale, 66, of Sardis for theft of rental property.

Detectives with OPD coordinated with the Panola County Sheriff’s Department and Batesville Police Department to locate Hale and the missing vehicle.

Hale and the stolen vehicle were located and she was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center.
