Rev. Terry Ray Caine, 70

Rev. Terry Ray Caine, born on July 2, 1954, in Marks, passed away on October 10, 2024, in Oxford. He was a man of many talents and passions, dedicating life to his profession and in service and ministry.

Rev. Caine worked as a contractor for many years, showcasing his skilled craftsmanship and strong work ethic. His commitment and calling to the Lord led him to become a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church, and later, he served with the Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship.

Rev. Caine’s dedication to his calling was evident in his approach to life and service. Furthermore, he contributed to his community as a volunteer firefighter for over a decade, embodying the spirit of selflessness and bravery. Rev. Caine also exemplified selfless devotion to his wife by being a caregiver to her in the final years of her life.

Rev. Caine was currently a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Senatobia.

He leaves behind two cherished children, Terry Renee McClain (Josh) of San Bernardino, California, and Benji Cain of Batesville. Rev. Caine was also a proud grandfather to his two grandchildren, Bryson and Kelton McClain, with whom he shared joyful moments and loving memories.

Rev. Caine is survived by six siblings who will forever carry his memory in their hearts: Linda Caine Heath, Ricky Caine, Tommy Caine, Danny Caine, Richard Caine, Sr., and Joey Caine.

His loving wife, Brenda Gail Caine, preceded him in death, along with his brother, Michael Caine.

A visitation for Rev. Caine will take place on October 12, at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, Mississippi, starting at 5 p.m. until 7  p.m. A graveside service will be held at Antioch Cemetery in Courtland on October 13 beginning at 3 p.m.

Rev. Terry Ray Caine will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his dedication to service, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
