Apart from his ministry, Bro. Howell led a diverse professional life. He was a retired Truck Driver for Sears and had also retired from Panola Farmers Service. His passion for driving extended to roles at Heafner Motors, Belk Ford, and Oxford Toyota. His dedication and strong work ethic were evident in all aspects of his life.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Bro. Howell found joy and fulfillment in various hobbies and interests. He had a deep love for bird hunting, particularly quail hunting, which allowed him to connect with nature and find peace in the outdoors. Additionally, he expressed himself through songwriting and found immense pleasure in sharing the stories of faith through music. Perhaps, nothing could surpass his love, however, of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

His legacy further lives on through ten grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren who will always cherish the memories created with their patriarch.
