Tigers playing for North Half this week – Blanked Warren Central 10-0 Monday; Neshoba up next

The South Panola Tigers will play Neshoba Central this week for the 6A North Half title this week as they move one step closer to reaching the 2024 softball state championship series.

The Lady Tigers dominated Warren Central 10-0 in Batesville Monday night to take the deciding game of a three-game series that started last Friday with a South Panola shutout (also 10-0). 

Warren Central responded with a 2-0 win in Vicksburg on Saturday.

South Panola will host the first game of the North Half series on Thursday with a 6 p.m. first pitch start. Game 2 will be at Neshoba on Friday, and if a third game is needed the series will return to Batesville for a 5 p.m. game on Saturday.
