Thomas W. Tutor, Sr.,  63, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at his home in Courtland.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16,  in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment  at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville.

Thomas was born on July 23, 1960, to Georgia Hollinger and the late Wayne W. Tutor in Marks. He worked as an LPN for nearly 30 years. Thomas had several passions in life, including playing the drums, researching family genealogy, and cooking. He was also an excellent chef, and enjoyed cooking for his family. Thomas had a special love for his grandchildren and spoiled them every chance he had.

The family left behind to cherish his memory includes his daughter, Madison McCool (Matt) of Pope; four sons, Thomas W. Tutor, Jr. of Batesville,  Lukas McIver of Tampa, FL, Jamie L. Smith of Horn Lake, and Cody Newman of Courtland; his mother, Georgia Tutor Hollinger of Courtland; two sisters, Debra Tutor Roberson of Batesville, and Brenda Morehead of Water Valley; two brothers, Kenneth L. Tutor (Susan) of Tampa, FL, and Richard D. Tutor of Tampa, FL; and 8 grandchildren, Samantha Smith, Mallory Smith, Ashton Smith, Kaelynne Bell, Gracelynn Cooper, Madylan Holley, Merritt McCool, and Maddox McCool.

Along with his father, he is preceded in death by one sister Rebecca A. Self; and two brothers, James D. Tutor and William Allen Tutor.
