Charles Loague Van Namen,  70, of Batesville passed away peacefully at his home Thursday morning Jan 5, 2023.

Charles was born in 1952 to Ralph and Paula Van Namen in Greenwood.  Charles spent his entire career (52 years) in the concrete industry finishing his career with Mississippi Materials Corporation.

He also was a member of the Cleveland Volunteer Fire Dept for 13 years holding various positions including Chief, and the Batesville Fire Dept for 8 years holding various positions including Assistant Chief.  When not working Charles enjoyed fishing and spending time with his wife Norma.

Charles was proceeded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife Norma, of Batesville, daughter Cynthia Van Namen Saxon (Gabe), of Marianna, AR, son Stephen Van Namen (Merideth), of Cleveland, brothers Paul Van Namen (Janie) of Collierville, TN, Jerry Van Namen (Beverly) of Grenada, Shawn Van Namen (Lynette) of Benoit, grandchildren Malorie Saxon Hall (Barrett) of Palestine, AR, Peyton Saxon of Marianna, AR, Hall Van Namen and Jude Van Namen of Cleveland.
