Ruby Palmertree Williams,  94, passed away at her home in Sledge on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021.

There will be a graveside service only held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at Forrest Memorial Park.

Ruby was born Dec. 2, 1926, to the late Jeff B. Palmertree and Jessie Bocannon Palmertree in Panola County. She worked as a bookkeeper for James Gas Company in Sledge. Ruby was a member of Sledge Methodist Church. Ruby lived a long full life. The things she must have seen during her lifetime. Oh, the stories she could tell.

Ruby and Hubert had no children but she was blessed to be survived by her sister, Donna Traywick of Batesville; nieces, LaDonna Murphree of Hernando, Natalie Norwood of Batesville, Becky Williams of Memphis, Mary Ellen Baker of Sledge; nephews, Harold Baker of Sledge, Jeff Palmertree of Batesville; great niece, Amy Borseth of Guys, TN.,  and all who adored her.
