North Delta junior Shelby Boone came in first place in the high jump and third in the long jump at the MAIS District 1-AAA meet last Wednesday.

Boone will advance to the North AAA State meet Wednesday, April 21, at Clarksdale Lee Academy.

Three other North Delta School Track and Field members will advance to the MAIS North AAA State.

Ally Alford placed fourth in the long jump. Breck Brewer garnered a second place finish in the shot put and third in the discus.

Boone, Autumn Boone, Emily Wells and Sadie Grey will represent North Delta in the girls 4×400 and 4×800 relays.

 On the boys side, Colin Hentz will run in the mile and two mile event.
