Feb. 8

The Sardis District Layman Ministry will host a fellowship breakfast at 10 a.m. Events will take place at Mt. Gillian M.B. Church fellowship hall. District deacons and laymen, along with boys that want to compete in the state “Men’s Super Conference” Bible Bowl and the 3-point basketball shootout competition are asked to be present. Feb. 9

Pope Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church will honor local ministers at 11:15 a.m. All are cordially invited. Rev. Nehemiah Martin is church pastor.

Feb. 23

The Liberty Hill M.B. Church,1414 Cosby Rd., Courtland, will host its annual Women In Red program at 3 p.m. Minister Latorria Benson Moore and Pope Chapel AME Zion Church will be the special guests.

Rev. Dameon L. Cunningham is pastor and the program is sponsored by the Pastor Aid Committee.

A Wild Game Supper is scheduled for First Baptist Church Batesville, 104 Panola Ave., at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 may be purchased in the church office or from Brent Roberts or Nick Hudson.
