Nine Tigers sign football scholarships

Nine South Panola football players will continue their careers as they signed national letters of intent Wednesday morning at the school’s media center.

In the early signing period in December, running back Janari Dean signed with Mississippi State University.

This week, Tigers linebacker Jaqualin Gillespie signed with Coahoma Community College while offensive linemen Daunte Carr and Jakeryon Pollard inked with East Mississippi.

Dual sport standout defensive back Wes Morgan along with Jordan Milton will take their talents to Holmes Community College. Morgan also plays center field and pitches for the South Panola baseball team.

Offensive linemen Markevian Jones and Antonio Victom will take their talents to Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit. Quin Hodges will head to Fulton to play for Itawamba Community College.

Wide receiver Ricky Farmer inked with Northeast Mississippi Community College.
