Cougars pick up a W over Rosa Fort

One nail-biter and a blowout highlighted a pair of basketball wins for North Panola as the Cougars swept Rosa Fort Friday night.
The Lady Cougars improved to 8-15 on the season with an exciting 52-51 overtime victory while their counterparts eased past the Lions 68-48.
Carl Robinson paced North Panola (16-9) with a game-high 17 points while Tony Davis added 15. The Cougars led from opening tipoff until the end.
Ankerion Gross chipped in with 12 points while team leading scorer Cedquavious Hunter was held to nine.
Javon Williiams supplied six with Dee Brown and Canijah Jones contributed with four points each. Eric Williams rounded out the scoring with one point.
North Panola hosts Coldwater tonight at 6 p.m in the final home game of the year before visiting Independence Friday to close out the regular season.
