Batesville Municipal Court resumed Wednesday, Jan. 8, with Judge Jay Westfaul presiding.

Donald G. Climber, Jr.165 Lambs Rd., Grenada, pleaded guilty to possession of paraphernalia and was fined $383.

Vanessa N. Roberson,1340 Riverside Rd.,Marks, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana in a vehicle and was fined $683.

Quindarrius D. Jones, 211 Arizona St., Batesville, pleaded not guilty to malicious mischief and was given a Jan. 29 trial date.

Brittany S. Chapman, 6084 Curtis Rd., Batesville, had a simple assault charge dismissed.

D’Lirian D.Casey,128 Patton Ln., Batesville, failed to appear on a domestic violence-simple assault charge.

Kevin Ray Battle, 211 MLK Jr.,Dr., Batesville, pleaded to disorderly conduct and no driver’s license and fined $953

Joseph C. Armstead, 4328 Curtis Rd., Batesville, was found guilty under sworn testimony of disorderly conduct, improper equipment, no drivers license and non-payment of old fines totaling $2,548 due in 30 days.

Desbit Coley, 281 Ross Rd., Como, was found guilty under sworn testimony of shoplifting and non-payment of old fines totaling $2,270 due in 30 days.

Lisa J. Pride, 406 Alcorn St., Sardis, was found guilty of driving with an expired tag and was fined $227.

Ariana D. Pounders, 214 Tubbs Rd., Apt.18, Batesville, pleaded guilty to an expired tag charge and non-payment of old fines totaling $1,640.

Deon C. Pryor, 202 Dell St., failed to appear on non-payment of old fines totaling $1,354.

Tanielle J. Burgess, 794A Shiloh Rd., Courtland, was ordered to pay $1,959 in old fines.

Cedrick A. Williams, 1005 Lead Bayou Apt.36, Cleveland, had charges of felony trafficking of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, disorderly conduct, careless driving and no drivers license sent to the Panola Co. Grand Jury.

Austin Blair, no address given, pleaded guilty of shoplifting and fined $946

In cases set trial,

Erick Cathey, 707 Boothe St., Batesville, was found guilty of two counts of violation of the dog running at-large ordinance and animal cruelty and was fined $546.
