Former South Panola Tigers running back Darrell Henderson saw his first real pro action in the NFL Sunday when he rushed for 39 yards on six carries. The Los Angeles Rams rookie also had one pass reception for nine yards.
Henderson, an all-conference player at the University of Memphis, finished his junior season last year as the top rusher in college football, and opted to enter the NFL draft.
The Rams lost to the San Francisco 49ers 20-7 Sunday, and are now 3-3 on the season.
