NOTICE TO TVEPA MEMBERS located in the areas of eastern Tate County and north eastern Panola County:

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has a planned outage scheduled for Saturday, October 12^th from approximately 6:00am until 4:00pm.  This will affect the Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association’s (TVEPA) Sardis Substation which covers the eastern portion of Tate County as well as the north eastern section of Panola County.  TVA’s scheduled Transmission Maintenance for that date consists of a complete change out of transmission structures, therefore the transmission lines will be de-energized as necessary.  Tallahatchie Valley EPA apologies for this inconvenience to our members.  Rest assured that once power is restored from Tennessee Valley Authority to TVEPA’s Sardis Substation, everyone will be immediately restored.
