Como Municipal Court

The Town of Como held Municipal Court Wednesday, June 5.

Curtis Arnold, 412 Dewberry St., Sardis, pleaded not guilty to two counts of malicious mischief, domestic violence and trespassing. His trial is set for Aug. 7.

Donyavious D. Banks, 188 Abe Hill Rd., Como, pleaded guilty to careless driving and was fined $253. He had a charge of possession of a stolen firearm dismissed.

Emily Norman Denton, 218 Elder Frank Ward, Como, pleaded not guilty through her lawyer, Hiram Eastland, to a second count of violation of the dog ordinance – animal leash law. A trial was set for Aug. 7. She had charges of resisting arrest and simple assault on an officer dismissed by Judge Gaines Baker.

Laron Cortez Green, 65A Hibbler Rd., Como, plead guilty to possession of paraphernalia and was fined $486.25. He pleaded not guilty to shoplifting and a trial was set for Aug. 7.

Takisha Harris, 218 Ross Road, Como, pleaded guilty to disregarding a traffic device and was fined $193.

Jeremiah J. Harrison, 317 Warren St., Como, plead not guilty to simple assault. His trial is set for Aug. 7.

Lamarcus T. Heffner, 219 Warren St., Como, pleaded not guilty to two counts of domestic violence and one count of disturbing the peace. His trial is set for Aug. 7.

Larry Jackson, 435 Warren St., Como, pleaded guilty to no seat belt. He was fined $27. He pleaded not guilty to no insurance, abusive calls to emergency telephone, public drunk, two counts of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. His trial was set for Aug. 7.

Laportia Jackson, 303 Railroad Lot. 6, Como, paid her fine of $27 before court for no seat belt.

Jerry Wayne Milan, 894 Partee Rd., Como, paid $193 for his disregarded for a traffic device before court.

Kedrick Turner, 200 Ridge Rd., Courtland, pleaded guilty to driving while his license was suspended and no seat belt. He was fined $370.

John Rhodes pleaded not guilty for a parking violation and his trial was set for Sept. 4.

Larry Walls pleased not guilty to malicious mischief and his trial was set for Aug. 7.

Anthony Deandre Banger, 433 Taylor St., Como, was charged with no insurance, driving while license suspended, failure to yield to officer and blue light and open container. He was fined $614.25 for license and open container. The fines were not listed for the other charges.

Donald Wood Chancellor, 103 Craig St., Como, was charged with improper parking and fined $274.25.

Courtney Jarell Dillard, G295 Heather Cove, Horn Lake, was charged with careless driving and no insurance, He was fined $646.

Dwayne Higgabothan, 508 Warren St., Como, was charged with improper equipment and fined $193.

Raven Jones, 214 Dewberry St., was charged with aggravated assault. No fine was listed.

Cauz Allen Leach, 125 CR 521, Como, was charged with expired tag and expired drivers license. He was fined $476.25.

Lashoda Lasha Mills, 4822 Veracity Pt Apt. 102, Sanford, Fla., was charged with disregard for a traffic device and fined $193.

James Shaw was charged with violation of dog ordinance and disturbing the peace. He was fined $626.25.

Rachel E. Thomas, 1015 Pebble Creek, Oxford, was charged with disregard for a traffic device and fined $193.

Sherman turner, 1683 Shiloh Road, Courtland, was charged with expired/no license and fined $274.25.

The next court date is Wednesday, July 3, at 1 p.m.
