Therron Blackburn, 19, of Batesville, has been charged with felony malicious mischief by Oxford Police following a incident in Lafayette County earlier this month.

Blackburn was arrested Nov. 15 and was being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center on $2,500 bond late last week.

Officers responded to a malicious mischief call on Nov. 7 when the reporting party said an argument with Blackburn escalated and he repeatedly kicked the victim’s vehicle causing damage.

Following an investigation, Blackburn was located and arrested last Thursday. A court date had not been set at the time Oxford police released details of the incident.
