Batesville Believas finish second in World Series

The Batesville Believas 12 and under team finished second in the World Series held at Greenbrook Park in Southaven this past weekend. They defeated Saltillo 8-6 Thursday; defeated Jasper 11-3 Friday; and defeated Murphy NC 12-3 Saturday. On Sunday, they had to face Jasper again. Jasper was tasked with beating the Believas twice on Sunday and did it to win the World Series, 7-3 and 5-1. Team members and coaches include (photo above: front row, l. to r.)
