Christopher Carter
CARROLLTON––Christopher Carter, 29, died Saturday, January 23, 2016, in Grenada.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Hope M.B. Church in Grenada. Pastor Jeffery K. McMullen will officiate. Burial will be in Bethlehem Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary, who has charge of arrangements. Visitation will also be held the day of service from noon until service time at New Hope.
Carter, born Jan. 18, 1987, in Grenada, to Troy Johnson of Batesville and Lula Mae Carter of Grenada, was a fork-lift driver.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include: his wife, Lakesha Carter of Grenada; grandmother, Cora Jean Boothe of Batesville; one daughter, Mercedes Robinson of Charleston; seven brothers, Tommy Carter of Cleveland, Tristan Key, Marco Key and Mario Key, all of Batesville, Stephen Carter of New Orleans, Martez Carter of Grenada and Travis Key of Tupelo; eight sisters, Laquitta Carter, Samka Kimble, Tamara Kimble, Porche Kimble all of Grenada, Trina Kimble of Charleston, Jamie Carter of New Orleans, Lakecia Key of Batesville and Reta Brown of Water Valley.

BATESVILLE––Robert Ernest Donahou Jr., 38, died Sunday, January 24, 2016.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. in the Sardis Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home, who has charge of arrangements.
Donahou, born November 15, 1977 in Sulfer, La. to Joy Lynn Slaughter Caraway of Natchez and Robert Ernest Donahou of Senatobia, was a mechanic and active in the Christian Motorcycle Association. He was an Alias MC member.
Survivors, in addition to, include: his wife, Anita Shelly Stiel Donahou of Batesville; his daughter, Alexi Sierra Donahou; his son, Tyler Scott Donahou; one sister, Lyndsey Galbreath, all of Senatobia; three brothers, James Donahou of Senatobia, Scott Roberson of Abbeville, La. and Michael Roberson of Hattiesburg; his step-parents, Alison Donahou of Senatobia; and step-father, Johnny Caraway of Natchez
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Bobby L. “Skipper” Daugherty II
COURTLAND – Bobby L. “Skipper” Daugherty II, 39, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from noon until service time. Rev. Derrick Simmons will officiate the service. Wells Funeral Home has charge.
Daugherty, born June 13, 1976, in Batesville to Bobby L. Daugherty and Gail Glenn Daugherty of Courtland, was an auto body mechanic for Everett’s Body Shop in Grenada
Survivors along with his parents include: his wife, Valerie Stricklin Daugherty of Courtland; two sons, Brady Lane Daugherty and Evan LuDurl Daugherty, both of Courtland.
