The Cross, Inc., is the tentative name for an upcoming drive to raise money for the erection of a 110’ cross near the intersection of Highways 6-278 and I-55. A similar cross is presently located on I-55 in Winona. A small committee discussed acquiring a suitable spot during a meeting Tuesday as well as organizing a community-wide coalition to assist with the project.
