Marcia T. Black, 212 Vance St., Batesville, was sentenced to one year to serve for selling marijuana (habitual). The case was heard in Circuit Court.

March 18
George Levern Knowles, 195 Lewis St., Marks, was arrested and charged with DUI, no proof of insurance, running a stop sign and no driver’s license. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.
Joel Michael Covington, 185 Mt. Olivet Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with DUI, no proof of insurance, no driver’s license and switched tag. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.
Tavis Martez Steel, 311 Lincoln St., Sardis, was arrested and charged with false pretense and petit larceny. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.
Ricky Lynn Bailey, 213 Henry Heafner Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with simple assault. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Jeffrey Steven Fulcher, 812 Pinetrail Dr., Ridgeland, was arrested and charged with grand larceny. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.

Tony Presley, 403 Warren St., Como, was arrested and charged with public drunk, possession of paraphernalia and open container. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.
Perry Presley Jr., 3925 Tom Floyd Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with open container and public drunk. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.
Elvin R. Nunley, 4507 Stage Road, Coldwater, was arrested and charged with saggy pants, witholding information, public drunk and public profanity. The case will be heard in Crenshaw Municipal Court.
