North Panola falls to Desoto Central

It was another disappointing night for the North Panola Cougars as they fell to Desoto Central 49-6 in the Jaguars’ homecoming.
Desoto Central led 18-0 at the end of the first quarter, including two safeties.

North Panola’s lone run was a one-yard run by senior running back Cedric Clay with 10:29 left in the game. The extra point kick failed.
The Cougars return home Friday to host South Pontotoc in non-district action at 7:30 p.m.
On September 21, the Cougars will celebrate homecoming as they host head coach Eric Rice, former North Panola and South Panola assistant coach, and his Benton County team.
