Panola County Solid Waste will maintain its routes Monday in municipalities it serves despite the 4th of July holiday.
But the solid waste trucks will run one day behind schedule for unincorporated areas of the county.
Solid Waste serves Batesville, Como, Courtland, Pope and Sardis.
Municipalities are served by trucks with hydraulic arms that dump containers and require only a driver-operator, said a spokesman for the county office.
State inmates from the David Bryan Justice Complex are used to dump containers in rural areas of Panola County.
Courthouses in both Batesville and Sardis will also be closed on Monday.
Most municipalities, businesses and lending institutions will be closed for the Monday Fourth of July holiday.
