Cold shooting and fouls sealed the Cougars’ fate as Palmer took the lead 34-33 with 6:48 left in the game and never looked back.

Palmer increased the lead to 38-34 before the Cougars fought back and pulled within one point, 38-37 with 2:45 left in the game.
