Jerry settles into life as a Falcon with $10.35M contract
The Atlanta-Journal Constitution in Atlanta, Ga. published an article on Batesville native Peria Jerry after his first NFL preseason game.
He made one assisted tackle and is getting ready to move into his new house. The Journal reported Jerry signed a five-year, $10.35 million contract with the Falcons. His birthday is tomorrow and he turns 25.
The article reports he and three other rookies had to perform for the rest of the squad and they dubbed their group RDL4 and performed a rhythm-and-blues song by Dru Hill, “In My Bed.”
When he is not working on his singing career, Jerry and his new teammates sit around and play cards and Madden 2010, according to the Journal.
