The North Delta Green Wave pulled off a 13-8 victory over Bayou Academy Friday night to stay alive in the North State Tournament.
The third and decisive game was scheduled for 1 p.m. today at North Delta. Due to the storms that moved through the area early Saturday morning, the game has been moved to Canton Academy near Jackson. Canton Academy has the closest driest field, according to North Delta head master John Howell Jr.
“We need to play it today to get it all done with no threat to graduation,” Howell said.
The game will be played today at 5 p.m.
