The Clarion-Ledger website announced Thursday South Panola linebacker David Conner has been selected for the coveted Dandy Dozen team.

Conner was named to the Clarion-Ledger first team last season, following the Tiger’s record-setting fifth consecutive 15-0 season and state championship.

Conner was one of the leading tacklers on the team with 97, 18 for loss.

The Clarion-Ledger has been announcing Dandy Dozen picks one day at a time at noon for the last 10 days. Two more will be announced today and tomorrow. The 12 will meet July 23 for a photo shoot and interview session in Jackson.
